Table To-gather (2023-2025)
Table To-gather is a three-year creative collective and collaboration programme curated by On & On Theatre Workshop. Launched in 2023, the programme brings together emerging artists with diverse theatre roles – Henry Chan, Kingston Lo, David Chan, Miu Law, Donald Chung, Loui Yuen, Chow Wai-chuen, Santayana Li, Tam Yuk-ting and Gordon Wong – to nurture creative dialogue, and build a space for collective exploration through observation, exchange, salons, co-learning classes, workshops and performances.
Table To-Study
“Table To-study 2024”, themed “See the Creation, See the Self”, is structured as a three-week program designed for creators and theatre enthusiasts interested in enhancing their creative abilities or exploring personal growth through artistic expression. It is a learning experience that integrates practice and theory in collaboration with creators and creative units from different fields, through a series of talks, workshops, screenings, and reading clubs. It aims to build a mutually inspiring learning community where participants can engage with diverse creative perspectives and apply collective insights in theatre.
In "Table To-study 2025", the theme will be "See the Production, See the World." This program will also feature a blend of talks, workshops, screenings, and reading clubs designed to explore how creative projects can be expanded to different stages and regions around the world.
Show Room To-gather
The "Show Room To-gather" focuses on the early stages of theater creation. Members of the "Table To-gather" utilize a variety of forms, including play readings, performative showcases, interactive creative experiments, and statistical presentations, to actively engage attendees in the development phase. Together with the creators, attendees are encouraged to contribute to the nurturing of artistic content, exploring and experiencing the process collaboratively.
Open Kitchen To-gather
"Open Kitchen To-Gather" brings together all members of the Table To-Gather for a collaborative exploration. This annual gathering focuses on the personal and creative journeys of emerging artists, sharing with the audience the nuanced and profound effects of their life experiences, as well as the joys and challenges they face in their creative endeavors. Designed to resemble a culinary gathering, the event begins with interactive cooking sessions and incorporates Q&A segments, games, presentations, and demonstrations. This integration of culinary arts and creative dialogue significantly enriches the experience, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere for all participants.
