New Writing: An Actor’s Approach
Exploring acting methodologies is the final component of the programme "Contemporary Writing for Theatre" “New Writing: An Actor’s Approach” invites professional actors to delve into the breadth and depth of contemporary theatre performance. This marks a continuation of previous exploration in writing and directing, now turning to a deep dive into acting to bring new writing to life.
An eight-week acting course is launched over three months, combining actor training with phased creative development. The training features intensive workshops focusing on various physical training systems, with experienced directors from Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and France providing guidance in Hong Kong. Bi-monthly public performances will showcase the progressive results of these trainings.
