Play-Reading Salon 2014
Following last year's play reading salon that focused on new writings from the UK and Germany, this year's theme centers around French new texts, featuring two of the most sought-after French playwrights. The plays are presented in a mix of reading and performance, showcasing the aesthetics of French scripts. "Je Tremble" by Joël Pommerat is full of metaphors and imagery that profoundly resonate with the audience; "Histoire d’Amour" by Jean-Luc Lagarce whispers secrets, with the truth about relationships flickering between clarity and obscurity.
