Girl Play — Hong Kong Women’s Theatre Festival
"Girl Play" provides a platform that assembles female creators to speak out and celebrate together, showcasing their efforts and experiments in a focused space. They use various theatrical forms to tell their stories or address issues of concern to them. Utilising their voices and bodies, they explore the possibilities of theatre; creating a creative space in nature that allows long-hidden and non-mainstream voices to be heard once again.
This second edition of "Girl Play" provides women with a space to reflect and express their thoughts on gender, culture, and the relationships between individuals and society. It also guides the public to experience the connections between themselves and society from the perspectives of female creators.
