Blasted

A Cantonese staging of Sarah Kane's debut play "Blasted", which shocks with its raw depiction of human cruelty, hypocrisy, and decay, earning her acclaim from The Times as "a highly original playwright, whose writing possesses a strange beauty and a terrifying honesty." The play throws its characters into extreme conditions of violence and gore to explore intense emotional responses and the essence of love and hate, breaking away from traditional realism to a style that leaps from vivid reality to a surreal realm filled with symbols and nightmares, capturing the unsettling truths of our world.

Production under New Writing Theatre Festival 2012.
