17 Scenarios Likely and Unlikely to Happen in 2012 (Phase 1)

Inspired by Martin Crimp's "Attempts on her Life," Chan Ping-chiu directs a surreal performance themed around the apocalyptic trend. This performance is similarly composed of seemingly unrelated segments, an absent subject, and a plethora of cultural symbols, yet it connects more deeply with contemporary existential anxieties, becoming crazier and more humorous. It features eleven different scenes revolving around the Mayan 2012 apocalypse prophecy, interwoven with multiple symbols related to trends and identity.
