Flowing Warblers

Flowing Warblers

Is the community of shared fate a constructed imagination of the era, or a quest and creation of identity?

What can truly settle the human heart among staying, migrating, pausing, drifting, and commuting?

With no winners or losers, no rules, diaspora is a ball game played against fate.

The original play "Flowing Warblers" centers around the diaspora narratives from multiple locations such as Hong Kong, London, Berlin, Girona, and the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. Through the interwoven narratives, it explores the contrasting yet interconnected decisions of staying or leaving. It attempts to find ways for people to maintain a dialogue with reality amidst memories and anticipations, and to live out beliefs amid adversity.
