Tian Gong Kai Wu: exhibition of photography & installation
Photography & Installation Exhibition
Students from the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity delve into the deepest experiences, minute observations, and genuine feelings about their homes. Guided by artists/ instructors, the students explore our living habits and the subtle stories between people through objects, furniture, photographs, and speech. They rediscover the intriguing aspects of ordinary household items.
Theatre Showcase
Inspired by Dung Kai-cheung’s novel "The History of the Adventures of Vivi and Vera", the students engage in a series of games, workshops, data collection, discussions, and rehearsals. Through their personal observations, feelings, and understanding of "home", they compose unique histories of objects. They tell stories for us and our family members, bringing these stories to an intimate theater setting. Using language, movement, thoughts, emotions, music, set design, lighting, and even video, they construct a stage performance uniquely their own.
